Hello Grown ups!
Wow! It is already March! Can you believe how fast time if flying by this school year? We have been really working hard showing growth on our IStation testing scores as well as in ELA and Math everyday! Our 3rd through 5th grade are also studying extra hard for the upcoming state ISAT testing as well.
With working so hard to improve our academic scores it is really important that you ensure your student(s) attends school everyday as they miss out on a lot of learning concepts when they are absent from school or are tardy/leave early.
With attendance in mind, please try to schedule all spring trips during our scheduled spring break to avoid missing school.

Happy Spring,
Jill Taylor

Dressing for Springtime can be tricky!
Sometimes it is warm and sunny, other times it is wet and rainy and then other times it is windy as all get out and cold! Please listen to the weather and dress your student(s) accordingly.
Thank you! Kids don't mind getting wet but they become uncomfortable when they have wet socks, shoes or pants from playing outside. So please help them out and plan for the weather.

Guidance and SEL Update
We are working with students on the following concepts:

Honesty: Being honest at all times. Telling the truth even when you are nervous about it.
Integrity... "Doing the right thing even when no one is looking!"

Please feel free to talk with your student(s) about the importance of these two concepts and help to reinforce them at home as well.
