Get Started with TumbleBooks

tbTumbleBooks is an amazing eBook resource that is available for students both at school and at home. This site is totally FREE. There is NO need to log in or create an account. This is due to a 3 year grant from the State of Idaho Library Commission and the Albertson’s Foundation.

You will need to go to the Jerome Public Library website (http://www.ci.jerome.id.us/city-government/library.html) in order to access the TumbleBooks website. You need to click on “More Information” beside the Young Readers heading. There you can click on the TumbleBooks icon.

Once you get to the TumbleBooks website there is a link at the bottom for a “Tumble Tour”. Teachers, parents, and students will be interested to see how the site works and all the amazing things that are available there.

You can also use this site on a mobile device such as an iPad, Kindle, or Nook. There is NO app to download. You will still need to access it through the Jerome Public library website. On some devices it is automatically redirected to the mobile site. If this does not happen you will need to change your setting to MOBILE in the upper right hand corner.

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access

PowerSchool Parent/Student Access is for all parents and students in grades K-12. Its intention is to provide parents, guardians, students, and teachers with a tool to communicate grades, attendance records, assignments, and teacher comments on an ongoing basis. Parents are encouraged to have their children also view attendance and grade information.

PowerSchool is a web-based student data management system that the school district uses to administer a wide range of student information, including grades, attendance, course assignments, scheduling, demographics, and student activity data. Since PowerSchool is web-based, it can be accessed from any computer that is connected to the Internet. Each user (parent/guardian) is issued a unique username and password that will allow access to view their students information only.
