Jerome School District and the Migrant Parent Advisory Committee held a well attended family night on Friday, April 7th. More than 75 people from Jerome families came out to learn ways to protect their families during these difficult times. Sam Byrd, Ramon Martinez, and Carol Garcia Guzman offered words of knowledge, support, and encouragement on how to get family paperwork in order. Thanks to Alma Rodriguez for organizing this event and the JSD Migrant Building Managers; Roberto Garcia, Kenia Shutt, Gabriela Becerra, Maria Crabtree, Maria Moncada, and Yolanda Vergara for attending. Also thank you to the Latinos In Action group from the high school, Peggy Pickett, various high school migrant students and their friends, and of course our expert presenters!
